You ever hear the version with the Staple Singers sample? I remember when it first came out, that was the original version. then there were “copyright issues.” Now it’s apparently known as the remix where I still think of it as the original version and I always think of it when I hear the “Footsteps in the Dark” version. (I know wikipedia contradicts me, but that’s how I remember it.)
